Just wanna say, first of all, thanks for listening. And if you're listening to this right now, that means you're no stranger to, obviously, the social media outlets which are on Facebook, Twitter, and of course, Patreon.

And we're actually trying to raise some money here, obviously, to get to Dragon Con because Jason and a few others have been asked to go. So, we're just trying to get the money out there, buy some plane tickets, and of course, meet everybody out there as well. So, swing by Patreon, D-A-N-D-R. Go ahead and donate there if you can. Even one dollar helps out. Of course, swing by iTunes, give us five star because that's what we deserve. Obviously, we out here superstarin' it up. And swing by the Facebook, give us a like. How was that? - That was good, I visibly shivered.

(laughing) Superstarin' it off. (laughing) - Yeah, yeah, yeah, good, good, good. You guys ready? - Yes. - Always. - Let's do that thing where we go around the table. I'm Jason, I'm the Dungeon Master. Goin' around the table, startin' with Susan. - Hi, I'm Susan Spinnator. I play Errol of Grimnast, the Tiefling Invoker. - And Jamie. - I took a sip of water just to use my name. I didn't think I was gonna be second. - That's a good gamble. - Pizza last time or something? - Probably. - I never expect when you're gonna say my name. Anyway, I'm Jamie. I play Cory Forestkeeper on group two.

- And Danielle. Danielle was not expecting it either. - Sorry. I can drink water too, I'm sorry. All right, hi, this is Danielle Phelps. I play Leila Silverkin. - Xavier? - I am Xavier, I play Actuaronis, the Cleric Revenant Cleric. Yakes. - Yakes. - James. - Hey, it's James. I play Dagon the Scion, Yakes. - And last and certainly not least, Alex. - Hey, this is Alex. I play Brelin, the Halfling Bard. - Guys. - Yakes. (laughing) - I should've said I played Bill Gates. I played Bill Gates. - Guys, last time on the show, you guys tracked Cory down, you brought her back into the fold, albeit reluctantly.

You managed to make your way through, you managed to make your way through a burned down portion of the Evergreen to get to the old White Raven encampment, the hideout, the cave of theirs. The last remaining Raven there is Finway. And he thought you were either trying to loot or attack or something, but Airlove explained the situation and he brought you in to give you guys some rest and relaxation and to catch you up on a few things. The party found out that the war is essentially over. The Overwatch has been overthrown. They're in the course of making some changes.

Laila may have overheard a couple of things about Airlove's brother and some things that have been going on there. And I don't wanna say most importantly, but Dagon's bracelet, which led you guys there, got you guys in contact with one of the gates that had been talked about on the show for a very, very long time. So it was discussed last time that Dagon should probably get some rest before even attempting to open this thing. Finway told Dagon about Bree and her attempts to open it. And how it absolutely wiped her out. So you guys are gonna get some rest, but while you're doing that, what would you guys like to do?

Laila has just left the cave. - I know I was kind of in my own world, but should I make like a perception check to maybe hear her running away? - Well, I would have everybody roll perception just to see if they noticed her missing after a bit. So, okay, let's do this. Laila, what would you do after leaving the cave here? Is it just to get some air or is it to run away? Like what is it to do specifically? - She just runs, it's her instinct to run away. She's upset. So she'll probably run in like run not too, too far, but then like hide behind a tree or something.

- Okay. So everyone do me a favor, roll perception. - Including me or no? Do I need to see if I left? - Yeah, see if you notice that you left. (laughs) After a bit of time, I'd say after 10, 15 minutes, Erolove specifically, after she composes herself and kind of gets her stuff together, she gonna rejoin the party or she just kind of hanging out in this separate portion of the cave? - She'll go back to the party. - Okay. - She won't go into the middle of the group, but she'll be along the wall somewhere. - All right. So let's see, Erolove, Corey, Raylan, Actaronis and Dagon are all going to notice that Layla is not with the group anymore.

And it's one of those things you all kind of like, it's like, hey, when's the last time you saw her? Like, and you start to unravel it. It's like, oh, it's been a little bit. I haven't seen her. - Ruh-roh. - And where's the bear? - Doesn't look like, just ate, did it? - The bear is definitely just kind of hanging out in this cave. It's not really doing anything aggressive. It's just kind of like hanging out, just sort of laying down. - Guess we'll look around, right? I mean, she's not in here then. I'll look towards Dagon and be like- - A fearless leader? - Yeah, like, hey, is she going to the bathroom or something?

Where'd she go? - I don't know. I guess she took off. Maybe she's, we should probably go look for her. - Raylan's gonna put his finger on his nose and say, not it. - Dagon, let's look around. Okay, who's coming with me? - Corey will give a sigh and stand up 'cause she was given fluffy pets. It was fluffy, right? Everybody thinks it's fluffy. - Yeah. - I don't think so. - Okay, I could not remember. I was like, is this either Milky Way or fluffy? Or I couldn't remember what we set on. Okay, so yeah. She was petting fluffy, but she's gonna give a sigh once Raylan says not it and just stand up.

Like she's, she'll go. - Air Love will say, I'll go as well. I could use the air. - So sort of poking around in this cave while you're looking around, you figure maybe she's exploring or just took an offshoot or just wanted to be alone or whatever. You're not gonna see her. Walking, okay. Is Layla actively hiding or is it just she needed the air and is just kind of behind a tree and just. - She's hiding. - Okay, well do me a favor, roll a stealth check for me. - Oh, damn. - The infamous stealth check. - Yeah, remember how that first one went? - Wow. - I'm hiding, I'm really hiding.

- Wow. - Nice. - Nice. - Not Taunus. - Yeah. - The trees can't find me. - You are a tree. So the group's gonna leave this, the group's gonna leave this cave. And I would say that you are all actively searching for her, but none of you are going to find her. - Can I do a nature check to like, a nature check to look for like tracks or anything? - Um, you absolutely can. But it's going to, it's gonna be a bit more difficult because one, she created that roll. - Right. - But yeah, if it's extraordinarily high, we'll see what happens. - Okay. I was more like looking for a direction, not necessarily where she is.

- Right. - Like tracking. - 35. So that's gonna be, she is headed, it looks like it's more Northeastern, like away from this cave. So this is, there's not really much of a path because this place is fairly hidden, but there's a little river that you'd have to trek through to get here. So these tracks would lead up to the river and then you'd sort of lose the trail a bit. - Okay, I'll relay that to the group and just say, in lieu of separating, the tracks go this way. We should follow them and see if we can glimpse anything else where she might've gone.

- Tracks. - Gates. - Gates. - So even though I said no, we're all going again. We're all out here in the forest. - I'm still back at the cave 'cause I didn't see the, like sense the urgency of it. I just picture Leila might've been exploring the cave or something, so we just wanted to look for her. So maybe at that point, I just didn't hear you guys leaving, actually leaving the cave. So I might be still. - I don't imagine, unless we went back and be like, "Hey, she's not in the cave." You guys wouldn't be alarmed. - Ah, okay. - Craig would follow eventually.

He wouldn't see the urgency of it. He's like, "Well, she probably just needed some air "or something like that." But since the entire group is pretty much, like the majority of the group is out, you know her better, so. - If in five minutes, there's still no one in the cave, but like me and Finway and having an awkward conversation, I might just try to find you guys. - So, Gates. - Actually, we can come back to that later. I might say something to Finway. - Okay. - Is it like a nighttime or what time did we get to the cave? - By this time you're encroaching on dusk.

There's still some sun though. - Then I'm gonna make it apparent to the group like, "Hey, we just got done getting out of the swamp, "which was dangerous at daytime and night. "I'm pretty sure this forest is dangerous at night, "so we should find her fast." - You guys might fight something after all, okay. (laughs) Okay, so let's say you're following these tracks for a bit. You're gonna pick up, after this little river, you're gonna pick up the trail again with that 35. Leila, do me a favor and roll a perception check, please. - Okay, we can do that. - Jesus.

- Wow. - Whoa. - Hey. - Not 20 again. - Blocked my dice today. - See, they're on my side. (laughs) - That's two in a row. - Yeah, really. - Wow. - Well, you're gonna spot the party, but they're not gonna spot you. So you can do with that what you like. You can let them pass by, you can just sort of let them stumble around. Like, how would you like to do this? - She freezes, like she wasn't expecting them to follow, so she freezes and doesn't really react yet. - Rest of the party. You're gonna notice where these tracks have, you just kind of lose the trail. They just sort of stop.

So one of two things have happened. Either she suddenly got good at covering her tracks, or she is somewhere in this area, but you don't see her. - Nobody call out because it is dangerous. - Yeah, I don't think Braelyn would do that. He would just kind of look to the taller folk. - Should we fan out, maybe, to cover a little bit more ground, like the vicinity of the area? - Yeah, but I think we need to put a time limit on this. Like, it's getting dark, right? - Mm-hmm. - You got about a half hour of daylight left. - Okay, I guess Daygon will turn to everyone and say, look, I'm not trying to be selfish here, but why does this have to happen when we're so close to something new that could be huge for us?

- Maybe she was injured and that's why the tracks suddenly disappear. I think we should investigate the area to make sure that Layla is all right. - I, yeah, I agree, I agree. But it's getting dark and I don't think it's safe for anyone to be out here once the sun sets. So what are we gonna do? Do we wait till it's dark and head back or are we risking everyone out here? - I would say that Layla could hear the group talking. - I'll say in that case, I'll stand up from behind my tree. Where are they in comparison to me? - They're about 35, 40 feet away from you.

- Ahead of me or like next to me, behind me? - They would be pretty much horizontal to you. Like they'd be to your left. - Okay, I'll just step out and say, just go back to the cave. - I'll turn towards wherever she's talking from. What is going on with you? Are you purposely trying to put us in danger? Just like you did back at the Witch's Hut? - You didn't have to come after me. - Well, obviously we felt we did. You are part of this group, aren't you? - Yes, I hope so. But if it means that much to you, you can go back. I needed to step away. (soft music) I'm sorry if I sound harsh.

- Are you planning on coming back to the cave? - Just come back with us and let's talk about what's going on. - Hey Jason, can we do like a perception check or something to see if like we could see that she's visibly shaken or like there's something emotionally going on? - That would be more of an insight thing. - Ooh, I'm good at that. (laughing) - I remember there was a version of Air Love that constantly ran insight checks. (laughing) - No, I don't remember this. Must have been a dream. Jesus. - Yeah, so you can pick up in Leila's voice that she's, that's a 33, yeah.

You can pick up in her voice that she's sort of upset. Like she's, that you can hear it. - Air Love will step forward, kind of in front of Dagon and put her hand up to Leila and be like, is everything all right? You look unsettled. - I'll be okay. I just, I can't be around this right now. I just need, I need to be outside. - Well, maybe you should come closer to the cave so you're safe. I understand needing a moment, but your safety is our concern. - Fine. I can defend myself, but if it makes you feel better, I'll stay right outside the cave. - Thank you. I, I can't lose someone else.

And I guess we all head back then. - Yeah, she'll put her head down and she'll kind of like stay behind the group as they're slowly walking back to the cave. - Cori will keep her eye on Leila just to make sure she doesn't try to slip off again. - Craig's gonna sidle up next to Dagon on the way back. (clears throat) It's another thing where he's keeping step with Dagon and he's gonna lower his voice. Is this a thing that happens often where group members will just leave and need to be coaxed into coming back? - He'll laugh a bit. - Yeah, apparently it's a new trend.

- And he's visibly frustrated. He's gonna pat Dagon shorter. Well, maybe some rest will help everyone out. - Yeah, you're probably right. I don't wanna leave her out here like this, so someone's gonna have to talk to her. And I don't think I'm that guy right now. - I'll stay outside with Leila. - So, okay, wait, let's do this. Is, would you say that Corey's close enough to be able to hear this conversation going on? - I would, well, she said she was keeping her eye on Leila, so she would be towards the back. I'm not sure where Dagon and Craig are in line with the group.

- As we got closer to the cave, I was gonna reach out and grab her hand and try to pull her to step back with me for a moment. - Okay, so we'll do that. - Like not leave, but as they go into the cave, I was gonna grab her hand and pull her back for a second. - No running away together. - Ruin my plans. - Down the looies. - These two are on suicide watch, we need to... - Ouch. - All right, so everyone else get back to the cave. - Yeah, I guess we noticed this, sort of just give Corey a nod and sort of like acknowledging what's going on. - It's probably pretty obvious they want privacy.

- Why you gotta say it like that? - 'Cause it's probably... - Is every episode like a fan fiction set up? - No, it's a set up. Now the listeners can write in parallel universes, like what happened on those different streams and it's gonna get crazy. - That night outside the cave. - There's one inside the cave, there's one outside the cave. - This cave is just an unholy place, we can't see her. - We're not allowed in caves anymore. - What's that? - So then you realize you just made an inside the cave and outside the cave and inside the cave and outside the cave.

- Shut up. (laughing) - Oh geez. - You're just too good at this. - Oh geez. - Oh geez. (laughing) - Oh boy. - Oh, cheese and crackers guys. - Sorry, I find that adorable, I don't know. - Okay, serious time guys. So Layla and Corey are gonna stay behind a bit. - Yes. - Okay. - Because she was keeping an eye on her and Layla grabbed her hand, which not aggressively, she will shake off. - All right, so what would Layla wanna talk to her or? - Is everyone back inside the cave but her? - I would say yes. - Yeah, definitely. - Okay, she'll drop her head and say, look, I'm sorry.

I don't know, I know that you don't know a lot about me, but I'm looking for someone. And in my travels to find this person, I've had to do a lot of things that I'm not exactly proud of. I chose the life of a bounty hunter because it is the most fruitful job, but it seems it has gotten me into yet another situation that I don't wanna be in. I don't know if you know who Air Love's brother is, but my last and long standing bounty was her brother, is her brother. And I don't know what to do. I have not had a family for a long time. And I feel like you guys are the closest thing I have.

And I need to find this person, but I don't know if I can handle losing another family. I just can't do this. And I'm scared and I don't know what to do. I feel like I should leave. I just, I don't know what to do. - Jason, do I know who Malchus Grimnus is? - Do you make it a rural history check? - Yay. - Actually, you could roll history or streetwise. - Both equally bad. I'll take history. Watch out. 15. - You are loosely aware of Malchus's old association with Overdale and the Bleak Ten and just stories you've heard about him. With a 15, it would be more a caricature of Malchus than a historically accurate version of Malchus.

So the goofball tiefling who signed away a city to a psychopath and set forth a chain of events that blah, blah, blah. That's more what you would hear. Like, truth is the truth. - Okay, so I don't know any of the details of like what he's done recently and all that. - Okay. - Yeah, the name would definitely ring a bell. - Okay. - Would I notice her lack of knowledge like across her face? Would I know that? Like would I see that or no? Like you would expect that most people that would know of him would hear his name and almost cringe. And she's just kind of like, oh yeah, I know that name.

Like would I notice the difference? - Probably, yeah. This would be more like, oh yeah, I've heard that name. - Okay. - So I'll kind of like narrow my eyes a little bit. Like he's an evil man. Well, not man, but he's an evil being and he's done a lot of bad things and he was my biggest bounty. So I'm torn. Do I follow the life that I know? Or do I follow these people who apparently, some of them don't care if I'm here, they just don't want me to cause more trouble. What I don't know what to do. - Corey's gonna take a second and sort of absorb the information 'cause though she has heard the name Malchus, she's never really associated it with being evil, but she's gonna say, if you really wanna stay in this family, then the biggest hurdle that you're gonna have to overcome is honesty.

You need to tell Erylove all of this. You need to let her know what your intentions are because if you do decide to follow your own path, then that's a betrayal. - What if she wants me gone before I even answer? I mean, how do I know everyone wants me here? I came in to this family, even though it started out broken. I came in and what am I supposed to do? I don't want to follow this path, but if you guys don't need me or want me, why would I even stay? - We do not. - I've already gotten on his bad side, I mean, the fact that he had to come out and find me, I mean, he didn't have to, but apparently he felt like he needed to to take care of the group.

I don't wanna be that person. - Dagon's personality should not, he can come off as quite a grumpy old man. It has nothing to do with how he feels towards you or anyone in the group. He sees logic and nothing further. As far as this family, if you are really worried as to how they would react, then not only will you be breaking our trust by leaving, but it just shows that you don't trust us at all. I know that I want you here, and I know that some of the other group members do as well. You shouldn't second guess family. - You tried to leave. - Those were extenuating circumstances.

- How is this different? If they weren't, you know, you were scared of them being accepting of this, and then you decided that you were going to kill us all, but it's not. - You... (sighs) - It wasn't acceptance that I was looking for. I just didn't wanna see my family dead. - She'll kinda drop her head and sob quietly. - You should come back into the cave and talk to the group. - It was hard enough to say this once, but I guess I can do it again. - It will be a weight lifted, and she's gonna sort of like put her arm out, like, "Let's go into the cave." - With her head still down, she'll reach out and grab her hand.

And start walking. - Kori doesn't wanna be touched. - I don't think she notices that though. (all laugh) - Well, okay. Let's, Hector Onus. - Yes. - Let's cut back to you and Braylin for a second. Or, well, you. I think you were the one who stayed behind. - Yeah. - You said you wanted to do a thing? - Yeah, I probably would've went back to the gate area, or wherever Finway would be, and ask Finway a question. - Yeah, he's pretty much constantly localized around the gate, and that has been a position he's held for a while now. And he's kind of a buzz because this is, you guys are about to try something new.

Like, this is another Scion, firstly, which is something he figured he would never get a chance to see. And they haven't attempted to open this gate in weeks. Like, this has been something that's been back-burnered. So he is kind of bubbling over with excitement. But yeah, he'll be congregating right near the gate. - All right, so I'll just go back to him. Like, knock on the rocky side of the cave, as if I was entering the room. And just ask, "Excuse me, young man. You mentioned the thing that made me think that you had been testing the gate previously." - Yeah, well, we tried to open it a few times, yeah.

- You've mentioned you've managed to test a few things to go through. Objects, nothing alive, you said, correct? - Right. - And has anything made it, like, back and forth? - One thing, yeah. A sword, actually. Warforged managed to kind of hock the thing in and it came back and it seemed to be fine. We've never actually tried anything living. - All right, well, I think we have a first volunteer for tomorrow's testing. I'll give it a try. - He's gonna sort of cock his eye at this. - How to put it? Let's just say I am full of courage. Yeah, I'm full of courage.

- Okay, no one wants to see what's on the other side of this more than I do. I can assure you, I've worked for years. But you understand that could be suicide, right? - Yes, I came up with a fail-safe method of approaching this. I will put in my pinky first and then bring it back out. If nothing was damaged, if it's still moving, I will proceed to put my whole hand in. And then, if that also works, I will go through and come back as soon as I can. All within a maximum of maybe 10 seconds. - All right, well, we don't even know if, and you can see him pause to think of the name.

I wanna say Deegan. The Alhedron? - Oh, yes, yes, I'm sorry. I also forget his name sometimes. Don't feel bad about it. I don't think anyone remembers his name, constantly, at least. - Ouch. (laughing) - Sorry, I got a little distracted by this. What were we talking about? - Oh, Deegan, your leader. - Yeah, yes. - Yeah, I'm not great with names, but we don't even know if he can open it. So let's take this one step at a time. - All right, well, if it does take a lot of his energy, if he does manage to open it, I'll have to be real close to the gate, as close as I can, to make sure that as quickly as I can, I can do this very methodical plan I came up with.

- All right, well, I guess we'll find out tomorrow. - Very well. Have a good night. - You too. - Okay, Layla, Layla and Corey, I'm guessing you're approaching the rest of the group? - Yes. - Okay, and Deegan? - Did that Finway actor on us thing happen while we were outside? - I would say, yeah, that was probably something. - I hope so. - Yeah, that would be rude. (laughing) - Awkward. - I just picture him and he's like, hey, like he's in the room while they're... (laughing) - Let's say the group is back together now. Craig would be kind of milling about and Fluffy would be in tow.

Just sort of following Corey wherever, like every time Corey leaves a room or gets ready, just kind of like hoist itself up. Any other time, it's just kind of laying down in the cave. Just kind of just lounging. - Adorable. - Just being a bear. - Yeah, just being a bear. - Just not giving a shit about everyone else around. (laughing) - Just doing bear stuff. - Oblivious. - So hey, Layla's back. Who stayed behind? It was actor on us and was that it? Everybody else came? - I think that was it, yeah. I would have stayed behind, but then I saw like most of the people leave, so I would have gone in tow.

- So is everyone in the same room again? - Yes. - Okay. Do I have to repeat all that? Or can we just say that I like called everyone together, mainly talking to Erolove and explained it? - Let's play it out. - Doh. - I want to play it out specifically because- - Yeah, if you're focusing it to Erolove, it's pretty big. - I might have reactions. - Okay, so Layla will walk in the cave and just kind of, is there a chair and table there? - There's kind of a sitting area, yeah. It's a little more furnishing thing. There's crates and things and there's stuff to sit on, yeah.

- Okay, then she'll probably just go sit on a crate and ask that everyone come over for a second. And then once everyone gets there, she'll look at them and say, I'm really sorry that I stormed off the way I did. I'm not really sure of what's happening right now. And she'll look at Erolove and say, I know you're going through a lot, especially hearing about your brother's recent endeavors. And I feel like a horrible person adding to this, but my life before I met you was based solely around finding one person. And in my travels, I became a bounty hunter in order to make sure that I always had money to put a roof over my head and food in my mouth.

The last bounty I had or still have technically is Malkus. I'm supposed to find him. And that's kind of how I stumbled upon you guys. I heard he was in the roundabouts area or it was at some point. And I'm really sorry. I don't know. I don't even know what to do at this point. I don't want to hurt anyone. I don't want to live that life. You're the only family I have, but I don't know. I'm very scared. I don't know what to do. And she'll just put her head down. - When she said my brother, like she didn't say Malkus first. She said, my brother, all for air love freezes up like completely tense.

And then she actually says Malkus's name and she just starts. I don't know. Like there's a slight shake and she'll look to the party. See if they're like judging her because they just found out that her brother is Malkus. And then she'll listen to the best of what Laila has to say. And the tension starts leaving her after Laila stops speaking, she'll kneel down in front of Laila cause Laila's sitting down. She'll grab your hand and she'll look you in the eyes and say, I know that there were people after Malkus. I have come to accept this. I, for a while I was one of them.

I don't know what I would do if I were to meet him again. I'm, I don't think I want him dead. So, and she'll chuckle. So could you just, I don't want you to give up your profession because of me. And I know that his bounty is rather large, but before you take action, can I just talk to him first? I won't hurt him if you don't want me to. I mean, these bounties are a way of living with no help. I don't have anyone to give me a roof over my head or give me food when I'm hungry. I have to take care of myself. It doesn't mean that I have to be a bounty hunter forever.

I just, this, you know, this is all I know. I mean, I, he's not even the important part of it. Like I said, I'm looking for someone and he was just one avenue to get there. Plus I need to bring him in alive. That's how bounties work. I can't just kill him and say, here's his finger. I'd have to bring him in. So I, I won't hurt him and I don't have to be, I don't have to be this person I've become before I met you. I just, I just don't. But I mean, how, how would I do this if that were the case? Do you understand? - Yes. If what you were looking for was a family and a support system outside of bounty hunting, well, you have it.

I consider you family. I would fight for with and for you in battle. So if this isn't something you need to do, could, like I said, I don't know how I would react if I were to see him. So could you just consult me before you do something with Malchus or to Malchus? - She'll start crying and she'll nod her head of, you know, nod her head yes, very much so, like very fast and just kind of like lean forward and hug you, almost knocking you over. But you know, she was just, she's forceful in everything she does. (laughs) - Erlo will hug back. And then as soon as like you seem to be stable, she'll look back to the party and say, I might need to tell you the rest of you something.

You might've picked it up though. (sighs) - She'll slowly whisper sorry. - Erlo will stand up as soon as the hugging's over and she'll turn to look at the party and she'll look down at her hands and start fidgeting and then look back up and be like, I never did tell you my last name. My name is Erlo Grimness. Malchus Grimness is my older brother. And then she'll gauge the party's reaction. - Is that a name I would be familiar with, the whole Malchus, the whole Grimness family? - Let's do a thing. Everyone here, let's see. I would say Actoronus gets a history check.

Dagon you can do streetwise or history. - Did Valus ever mention Malchus back in the day? - We're gonna get to it. No, he makes a point never to mention him. - Okay. - If he can get away with it. - Okay, sorry, what am I rolling? - You can roll history or streetwise. Braylon can roll history or streetwise. Actoronus is pretty much Onacol based, so history. And then we've already covered. - I don't know nothing. - So let's see, Actoronus history wise. Actoronus would have a pretty decent grasp of what happened in Overdale. So not so much the caricature of Malchus, but kind of knowing that history is made up of grays, not blacks and whites.

He would know that Malchus is responsible for some of what happened and how the Overwatch got to where they were, but not all of it. - Okay. - He may have set some things in motion, but yeah, Carter was, yeah. Dagon would have a pretty decent grasp as well. Maybe not as fleshed out as Actoronus, but you definitely know the name. You would definitely know why, people might be looking for him. Braylon, Actoronus and Dagon, while they all know the name, you'd also know that he disappeared 17 years ago. And no one has really seen him since. - Okay, scary. - Craig, Craig is gonna sort of react, just, huh.

And after a second, he's gonna speak up. I would think they would be after the bigger one. - Let's kind of look up Adam, bigger one. - Why would they be after Valus? - Yeah, it's not like the big ones are always the problem, Craig, God. - Yeah, Craig. (laughs) Craig's a sisus. - Sisus, geez. - He's gonna sort of like, almost look to Erla, you have met him, right? (laughs) - He's my brother. - No offense, I'm sorry, I've spent some time with him recently actually. - She's gonna light up. How is he doing? I haven't seen him since before the Warforge battle. - Last I saw was about almost a week ago.

(soft music) - He's doing all right, he's in a party. They seem to get along all right, but he may have some anger issues from what I could pick up. - Erla will do that laugh too. (laughs) That has always been the case, but I'm sure he's always, it's never been a real issue. (soft music) - And then he's gonna look over to Dagon. You know him? - Yeah, he was with us for a while. He's kind of a clumsy oaf, if you ask me. - Erla will make a fist, but just by her side. (laughs) - I mean, picture a giant tiefling falling off a dragon. Really, it happened. (laughs) Craig is just, okay, so is Dagon actually like?

- Yes. - Okay, why was he on a dragon? I mean, was it voluntary or was he attacking it? - Oh, or were you riding a dragon? Dagon, if you were riding a dragon, you must tell me. - We were riding a dragon. - Oh, yes. Dagon, we have a long history ahead of us. - Corey and I, when we were back in Brightport, we were part of House Dragon's Keep and we had a dragon. It's a long story, but yeah, yeah. - You were recently in Brightport? - Under unfavorable circumstances, yes, I was in Brightport. - You spent time with Thales, did you see my mother, Tessia, how is she doing?

- Yes, oh, your mother is wonderful. She's good, she actually took over the house for us. She's doing quite well. - She took over House, what's House Dragon's Keep? 'Cause she knows, Erla knows it as Darkseid, right? Yeah, so she wouldn't know about Dragon's Keep. What house did she take over for you? - Right, now House Dragon's Keep, formerly House Darkseid. - You put my mother in charge of the darkest, most evil-ridden house in Brightport? What, are you trying to get her killed? You just said that she's a nice woman and then you go ahead and try to get her-- - Hold on.

(chuckles) I understand the confusion, I had my own hardship there. We took over the house, Theramak is dead and it's different now, believe me. It's maybe not a great happy place, I mean, it is Brightport after all, but she's safe there and she seemed more than capable to take over. Craig's gonna speak up, so you killed everyone in the house. - Look, if you were tortured there, you probably wouldn't hesitate either. - Well, I'm not judging. - And not everybody. David, he's a fine guy, he's working with Tetsuya. - That one guy we didn't kill. (all laughing) - I think the air level smiled herself and looked down and said, "I'm glad she's okay." - If I may interject a thought, going back on the Malchus matter, sounds like a rapper name.

It may not, I may be out of place discussing your family matters, but if he has a bounty on his head, Leila is not likely to be the only person after him. Knowing bounty hunters, things could get ugly, but I believe that if anyone would have to approach him and try to reason with him or discuss, see him to, as I understand now that the Overwatch power has shifted, the judgment may be less severe for whatever his crimes are, but if he is a criminal, he has to face justice and I think we are the safest way for him to meet justice. - Barling's gonna interrupt and say, "Well, I mean, yeah, if the judicial system's gone, "sure, you could have a new pharaoh system "or it could be worse." - Finway's gonna speak up, just kind of raise his hand, just kind of timidly.

I know they're not formally looking for him in the Overwatch anymore, they were for years famously, but there's no bounty coming from that city. I do know a couple of people who are actually looking for him though. - Would you like to expand on this? - I really don't know if it's my place, but it's more of a personal thing, not professional, and he's gonna look over to Leila. It's not like a bounty, it's more, I think she just wants to talk to him. - I have firsthand knowledge of knowing what just talking to someone turns into, you can't trust just talking to someone.

- Okay, well, this is between me and you guys, this doesn't go any further than this cave right here, all right? - Oh, sure, sure, sure, says Graylin as he takes out a piece of paper and. - What happens in the cave stays in the cave. We've already discussed this. - Pulls a raven out of his pocket. - So we've been here for years, the ravens for a few, and before us, they were fighting in this forest, just trying to stop all the logging and the invasion of all the war forged and the army and all that. That's not a secret. The woman who leads us, Brianna, she actually had a personal connection with Malgus and when he came back recently, she vouched for him.

She told all of us that he was gonna help us and that he was going to help us defeat Carter and put an end to all this and he sort of did, you could make an argument and this is again, I don't know firsthand, I wasn't there. So take this as you will, but to my understanding, he did something that killed, I guess is the right word, but killed almost all of the war forged on both sides and immediately after he left. I haven't spoken to Bri since it happened and I'm getting this from Poe and Lior who are very close to her. So I'm guessing that this is pretty much true.

Last I heard Bri's looking for him, Poe's not exactly sure what she's gonna do when she finds him. - Hope he doesn't blow up his head. - And he's gonna look kind of quizzically at Brelin. She's never really been out with a violent. I mean, she may, she might hit him a couple of times, but she's never, she would never just kill someone. - Oh, sure, yeah, yeah, I know. I mean, as long as they don't cross her, I mean, from what I've seen, the guys usually deserves it. He's gonna make a motion with his hand, like squishing something in his hand in front of him.

Like when he saw Brianna do it to Cecil. - He's looking at the rest of the party now. What exactly is he talking about? - We have met Miss Brianna a couple of days ago in Odysseus. She wasn't doing too well. When she gets back, make sure you tell her to take it easy. - Did she kill someone? - Well, in almost self-defense. (soft music) Craig's also gonna give a bit of a reaction to this, both, Craig's just gonna just sort of take it in. You can see that like, huh, like that's not the impression that he got of her. Fenway is going to sit back a bit and just kind of take that in.

- Well, she was being attacked, so it's only fair. It's just, it's just the fight was over. - Right, and I know she's had to kill people before, but it's usually an absolute last resort. And that just, it doesn't sound like her. - Her friend had also just been killed. I think she might've been slightly under duress. - Under duress, she was a reckless mess. She's burning herself out and she is a walking time bomb. - Fenway's gonna look to Deegan. (all laughing) - But doesn't say that, does he? - No. - Okay, that does not sound like her. - Well, that's the woman we met.

I don't know if this calm, collected person think you know, that's not who we saw. - Everyone do me a favor, roll a perception check. - Braelon's picking his nose. - Oh man, it rolled out of a box, that's mean. - Oh, damn it, one second. - You had one job. - Damn it, it got worse and worse. My first roll was a 17 and then it was a 12, but that wasn't for perception. - Still good, even though you rolled a five. - Yeah, I guess so. - Let's see here, Deegan, Layla, Aralov, Actaronis. You are all gonna notice Craig's face kind of twist up as soon as you remind him of the fact that Oon is dead.

The second Aralov said that her friend just died. Like it's gonna kind of snap him out of this. - I'm sorry. - We forgot. - My bad. - Yeah, you could just see that like he's gonna get quiet. You could just see that he's obviously troubled by it. - So many things happening at once. - Another awkward conversation signed group two. My foot tastes good, I don't know about you guys. - Yeah, it's great. - He's gonna, Craig is gonna clear his throat after a few minutes. So are you going after Malkus? What is the plan exactly here? - If you ask me, he did us a favor.

I mean, look what they did to my city. Why should I care? - Well, for one thing, innocents don't deserve to die. - Finwe's gonna chime in again. Well, something we found out not that long ago was that they, the Warforged on the Overwatch side really didn't have a choice. That they were being forced to carry out orders. They understood what they were doing and they were conscious of it, but they couldn't do anything to stop themselves. - This is horribly familiar. How did one tiefling wipe out an entire race of Warforged? - I wasn't there. Again, I, you wanna talk to Breanna about that, but if I had to put a kiss on it, an immensely powerful magical item.

- Man, they gonna look at her though. Is this something he could have done on his own? - The last time I saw him was 20 years ago and he barely, he was trying to build himself up. So in 20 years, maybe from the brother I knew, no. He's probably a completely different person now and she'll look down as she says that. - Breanna's gonna ask the room, well, where do you go if you need something of high power magictude? - He's gonna kind of look around 'cause he has no idea. - Would that be a role or do we know? - Everyone give me a history check, history or street wise.

- That's much better. - Great. - Oh fuck. - Two. - Ouch. - Wait, Arcana? Maybe? - This would be more knowledge, so not this time. Braelon and Dagon. Braelon and Dagon would, I would say that's one of those things where Braelon's asking a question and both of them are on the safe wavelength. Like you can obviously tell what he's getting at and that would be the city of Uminero. - There's like a eureka moment we both say at the same time. Uminero, high five. - Yeah, I was gonna say, it just sounded like Bill and Ted all of a sudden. - You jump in the air and it freeze frames.

- Something as strange as a foot at the circle cave. - You have no idea how happy Dan would be if he knows what this is. - Yeah, I know. - Bill and Ted. - He's in their own group. - I was one of the movies on Grey's novel. Anyways. - Braelon as Preston Esquire. (laughing) - Sorry. - Uminero. - Oh yeah, high five. - Who asked the question? - I did, but I think, Jason said we both figured it out. So I kind of just spoke it out loud. - Okay, you answered your own question. - Or you were leading to the answer. Like you were like, and where would you find a magical item?

- Yeah, yeah. - Like, okay. - Okay, let's do that. - So it doesn't look like you. (laughing) - And so we'd like to take on Uminero, is what are we saying here? - I'm saying if we really wanna find, if it's something we wanna take up, finding Malkus Grimnus, we could start by finding where he picked up his new tricks. Personally, he's wanted to disappear this long. I'm more than okay with letting him run off by himself. If we're basing this upon what I want, I don't care. - Spoken like a true sibling. - Hey, 20 years missing. Sorry, I didn't say that, but. - Vaylin would say, spoken like a true sibling, but he would say it like, not judgmentally, but like, just like, yeah, I would do the same kind of tone.

- If this is something the party wants to do, I won't stop it either. We seem to have more urgent matters with the gates anyhow, so. And Erelive's obviously shaken while saying this, like you don't even need a role perception. - Yes, I think by this point, we all need a lot of rest. - Yeah. - Dagon will look to Layla. Do you want to pursue this? - With your guys' help, yes. There's no way I would do this on my own after talking with you guys, so. Yes, I will go forward with you guys if this is what you want. - Well, if anything, if he's not willing to be taken in by other adventurers who might end up dying fighting him, I think we're his safest bet.

- Well, you followed me this far and helped me out. I would be more than happy to help you. Just give me another day to figure out this gate. We can head to Uminero, whatever everyone wants to do. - So, are you guys betting down for the night? - I guess so. - Yeah, I would think so. - Yeah, yeah, unless Craig's still hurt if someone wants to talk to him, I don't know. - I was gonna give him a Therian bread roll that I hid in my coat when I was ransacking the food. - Although, just after the conversation seemed to have ended, faded out, there's a thought that's gonna occur to Ektharonis, and he's just gonna say, however, if Malkus was fully aware that these Warforged mines were being trapped and forced to do, he may have to face some form of justice.

And then he's gonna turn back. That's it. - I don't know if anybody would have anything to say about that. Like, the only person who should really have a horse in this race is Erolove, I guess, considering she's the only one with any kind of emotional attachment to him. - Erolove is, she's trying to emotionally distance herself from this conversation at this point. - That's a lot of Malkus in one day. - It tends to come in waves. Yeah, Craig's gonna kinda separate from the group now and just probably sit outside the cave for a bit. It's definitely dark by now, but he's not gonna stray far.

It's more or less just getting a little air. (gentle music) - So is everyone else bedding down for the night? - Yeah. - Yep. - Yeah. - Yeah. - I'm gonna take Fluffy for a little walk. 'Cause he's been in the cave all day. - Like a good little bear. - It probably hasn't had anything to eat. Don't worry, I'll bring the little baggies that you have to bring with you when you go. - This would be a large baggie, but yes. (group laughing) - Sorry, it's a bit hefty. - Yeah. - Let's keep Theria clean is all. There are joggers, there are elven joggers out here. (group laughing) - I wouldn't wanna get a fine.

- Yeah. So I guess you'd be walking past Craig. - Yeah, I guess if he's right outside the cave. - Yeah, that's good, yeah. (gentle music) - Yeah, this one- - What's he doing? - Right now he's just sitting on a rock, just looking down. It's that kind of a posture if you're sitting on a bench or something like that, you have your elbows resting on your knees, just kind of slumped over, just you can tell. It does not really need a perception check. You can tell he's just kind of, he's pretty bummed right now. - Oh, well, I guess as she's taken Fluffy out, she'll just ask, is everything all right?

- First, he's gonna look at the bear. And then he's gonna look up at Cory. Yeah, I think tomorrow I'm gonna take off. I need to get back to Esterhold. It looks like you and the group have things under control. - Is Esterhold on our way to Uminero? - That depends on what route you wanted to take. It's more of a scenic route, but it could be. - Okay, because I feel like we have so many stops to make. - Yeah, so like right now, if you were looking at the map, you're in the northern half of the Evergreen. So actually it would be, you'd probably just skip right over to like Albury-Durnhollow and then make your way.

But that would mean going through the Divide, which is the Deadwood. It's the area in between, you know, Durnhollow and Donhurst. - Doesn't sound friendly. - It is not. You are correct. - The Deadwood. - Yeah, that's pretty much orc country. And it is a, that is a famous area for ambushes and murder. - Okay, well, knowing that it's a little bit out of the way, she's not gonna say that he should just wait so that they could go as a group. She's gonna ask, are you planning on traveling alone? - Yeah, I could find my way back. I was going to stick to the road anyway, but I've put it off enough.

You shouldn't leave them, you know. - She's just gonna sort of have like a quizzical look on her face. - And he's gonna recompose himself. They're gonna need you. And more specifically, I think the Aladrin's gonna need you. That's just my opinion. That's what I've picked up the very short time traveling with you, but don't leave based on what the witch said. - She's just gonna sort of cast her eyes down and look back up at Craig and sort of like with a very stern look, I've been convinced to stay at least for the time being. I just don't wanna cause any more pain to anybody.

- And he's gonna pat the rock next to him, just kind of a have a seat motion. You mind if I tell you a story? - She'll hop over and sit down. Not hop like a bunny, but you know what I mean. - She'll totally hop like a bunny. (laughs) (sighs) - When your group found me and brought me to your boat, I was in pretty bad shape and probably would have died if you hadn't stepped in. And again, I wanna thank you. I've had worse scrapes, you know, I've been in worse fights and before I settled down in Esterhold, this was about five, six years ago, I would actually go out with some of the younger initiates and help train them, smashing up bandit camps, that kind of thing, just light grunt work.

And a group actually got the jump on us one day. And before we could do much about it, they attacked us and almost beat me to death. Julie and some of the other, and he looks at you, Julie was my second in command at the time. And some of the others managed to fend the rest of them off, but we were completely overwhelmed. Quite frankly, it was embarrassing because we should have been able to take them out quickly, but we weren't paying attention and I wasn't paying attention. In the temple, there's a pretty firm belief we all hold to that when we die, we're supposed to see certain things.

Do you know what I saw when I almost died, Corey? (soft music) The whole time he's been speaking, she's sort of mimicked his stance on the rock, like she's got her hands on her knees and she's just listening, looking straight ahead. But when he asks her this question, she's gonna turn towards him. I didn't see anything. Nothing at all. Now I'm sure there are a lot of people who would have given up hope and left the church, maybe gotten angry or felt betrayed, but I still have faith. Maybe I hadn't earned it yet. Maybe I wasn't supposed to see cord or an afterlife, or maybe it just wasn't my time.

I'm telling you this because while it would be easy for you to give up hope, you need to have faith that this group, your family, is going to support you and they're gonna need you too, because that's, it is a really rare thing. Do you understand what I'm saying? - She'll sort of get back to her original stance of like her hands leaning on her knees and she'll droop her head down and slowly nod. - And he's gonna stand up after a minute and sort of put his hand on Cory's shoulder and then point over to the bear. You may wanna feed that before it eats one of us.

Unless Cory has anything else to say, he's going to kind of march back into the cave. - Oh, well, before he heads off, she's just gonna quickly say, though you'll be leaving tomorrow, know that you'll always have a place with us if you need it. - And he's gonna pause before heading back in and not make eye contact with Cory, but just sort of give a very subtle head nod and then head back inside. And she'll stand up and continue her little walk with Fluffy and then go back inside. - All right. Picking up the next day, would this be a situation where Dagon, would this be like first things first, let's do this, or is it more-- - Like Christmas morning, he just runs down the stairs, big old smile on his face.

- What do you mean run down the stairs? You know he slept right next to that damn thing all night long. - Well, he doesn't sleep, right? So he was probably sitting in front of the whole thing, just meditating right in front of it. So he's there ready for when anybody wakes up. Well, Finway, I guess. - Yeah, Finway is not sleeping much. He's ready. He's ready to go. - Yeah, I'd probably also have a hard time sleeping beforehand, so I'd probably be up a little before the sun or something. - Okay. Finway would be looking for Dagon and it's not hard to find him.

All right, you ready to try this? - Yes, what do we do first? - Well, first things first, do you feel rested? I mean, do you feel ready? - 100%. - All right, and I don't have cyanic powers, so from my understanding, I can show you where to stand, I can show you what to do, but it's gonna be up to you to focus and channel your power here. I can't really give you much instruction there. - Just go over when you tried this before with the other cyan, but tell me what happened. - Well, we found out that this thing needs a crazy amount of power to power up here and she was the only one with anything approaching what we'd need.

We still don't know if she actually opened the gate completely. I was flipping through that book and I don't know if you looked at some of the experiments they were doing, but bad things happen if you try to go through without it being completely powered up. And then he is going to look over to Acheronas, like strip the skin from your bones bad. - My method is a fail safe. Sure it'll work out just fine. - You haven't seen Dagon unleashing his powers yet. - What are you talking about? - That I have absolute faith in you and in your control of your own abilities and of you opening that gate.

- At this point, Craig would come walking into the room. But he's not saying anything, he's just kind of walked in. - Dagon, I haven't talked to you about this, but I went through every detail with Finway already. I will be volunteering to go through because you're invaluable to this gate. You can't be the one doing anything dangerous. And Finway confirmed that they have tried before with non-living subjects. So I just, as you know, I'm very courageous and I might attempt. I'll lose a hand at worst and I'll step back if it comes to that. - I know you're courageous, but I can't let you walk through there.

Not before we've tested it some other way. - You also know of my, let's say condition. - Finway's gonna look, kind of look like, like that kind of condition, that kind of thing. But not say anything. - Who's to say you'll come back if something bad happens? I'd rather not risk it. - Well, we can see if you can open the gate first. And if you can, I'll act as fast as I can. And if I lose a finger, I'll retract, I promise. - All right, but use one of the ones you don't use a lot, okay? - Don't worry, don't write a lot. (chuckles) - Craig's gonna speak up, just kind of a clearing his throat, just.

And he's looking at Dagon. - He'll look up at him? - I'm gonna get ready and take off. I need to get back to Astrhold. I wanted to stop by and thank you and your group again for what you did for me. And if we meet up again, I am obviously in your debt and anything that you need, I'll try and get for you. - If you feel this is what you need to do, I'm not gonna hold you back. - But I'm, oh, go ahead. I'm really sorry to see you go, in fact. Craig, are you sure you want to miss this? This might be interesting. - I would love to stick around and see it, but the last I left the city was in rough shape.

And to be honest, I should have took off days ago, but I wish you luck with whatever's about to happen here. - Craig, I hope you're not leaving because we've offended you in some way. - No, no, no, no. I had friends. Back in the city and I need to, I just need to get back. - I understand. And thank you for the help you've given us. And he'll put his hand up. And Craig's gonna give one of those big manly wrist handshake type deals. And he's going to do the same practice. - Gonna shake back and then bow a little and say, please pass on my sympathies to the court clergy of Mr.

Hold, you'll always be welcome here. (soft music) And he's gonna nod his head back. Well, I hope that he's watching over your entire party 'cause from what I can see, you all need it. - Dick. - Yeah, what's that supposed to mean? - It's a nice thing to say. It's more that you're constantly under attack now that you can't handle it. It's more like in the brief time he's known you, you fought a Hydra, you fought through a swamp, you faced off against a swamp, which you've, I mean like a bear attack the part, like it's not a long period of time. - He's witnessed exhibit A through like M.

- Yeah. - Well, what doesn't kill you, right? (soft music) And you can see he's about to speak and then just thinks better of it and doesn't say anything. He's gonna nod his head again and get ready in turn to leave. Is the rest of the party going to come together for this gate? - Fucking yeah. - Yeah, of course. - Dagon. Finway would instruct you on where to stand. There's sort of a whole thing's sort of flat pedestal surrounding this archway, but there is a place to stand on one side of it where there are two smaller columns that look like a place to put your hands and after a second, he would confirm that.

He would tell you where to stand and then he would start to instruct you. - Okay. - All right. Every time I've seen her do it, she places her hands on both of these pedestals here, these little columns. And I don't know what you do to get ready, but she thinks about something and she gets pissed and she just kind of lets that flow through her and into these columns. And I would say, just give it all you got and we're gonna see if you can open this, if you get as far as she did, then these rooms are gonna light up and the gate itself is gonna glow and where there's nothing in the archway now, there'll be some sort of light, so we could take it from there, but just give it all you got and see how long you can hold it, but don't hurt yourself.

(soft music) Well, two things. One, it's kind of tough to find a replacement scion and two, you could definitely hurt yourself doing this. - Right. Well, we've come this far, haven't we? - I'm gonna stand as close as I can to the gate, maybe like in a five foot safe distance in case there's like an explosion or something, and I'm gonna turn to Brailin and say, as soon as we confirm this is safe, you're the next one through that portal. You have earned it. - He's gonna look up and go, he's gonna look at Ektor and go, "Ha!" (laughing) (coughing) So, okay, Dagon will step up, rub his hands together and just say, "Well, I hope this discipline and focus has paid off." And he's going to put his hands in place.

- So, Finwe's gonna stand off to the side here. - All right, Dagon, just try to focus and when you're ready, just let her rip. - He's gonna look at Finwe and just say, "It's Dagon." (laughing) Nice, that's easy. And then power up. - All right, so after a few moments, Dagon's gonna, the room's gonna, I would imagine it's just dead silent. And after a few moments, and this is something you've seen happen dozens of times traveling with Dagon, but there's gonna be this, this kind of a beautiful blue glow come from his hands. And slowly but surely it's going to build and then just let loose straight toward the ground right through these columns.

And it is going to light this room up. And slowly but surely, the rooms that decorate this gate are gonna start to light up one by one. (soft music) And then starting from the outer edges of this archway, this soft purple light is going to start to materialize and slowly but surely it's going to start to creep toward the center. Dagon, do me a favor, roll an endurance check. - Okay, plus six, let's see how this goes. (soft music) Uh oh. - 15. You're gonna start to see where Dagon is sweating and this is obviously either the first time he is just completely letting loose and keeping it going for some time.

It's usually bursts or punches or blasts. This is just a complete torrent of energy coming from his hands and he is just going. And you're gonna see sweat form on his brow and it is taking a great deal of concentration and focus for him to continue to do this. And this energy in the archway, this purple light is creeping about halfway now. So it's sort of a half circle where there is nothing. And the outer edges is this purple light. Dagon, do me a favor, roll another endurance check. - Okay. - Can I get behind Dagon in case he collapses? - You absolutely can.

- Okay, I'm gonna do that. - Gonna shout encouraging words. Come on Dagon, you have this, keep focused. - Oh. - Well that's not better. - 12. - That is a 12. After a few more moments of this, this light is going to continue to creep toward the center. But Dagon just can't keep it going any further. - No, no. - And with one final kind of pop coming from his hands that is going to illuminate this cave and nearly temporarily blind everyone. This is bright, this is not torch light. This is a constant burning light. He is going to collapse backward. - Can I get you?

- Yeah, I would say that that's pretty much him falling against you, yeah. Finway's gonna have a very concerned look and sort of rush over to Dagon to make sure that he's all right. - Yeah, me too. - And for all appearances, it just appears as though he passed out. He just exhausted himself trying to do this. - So I'm out cold right now? - For a few seconds here. Actually do me a favor, roll an endurance check now. - Another one. How low can we go? - What's that? - Hey, that's better. - Oh man. - Let me. - So for just a few seconds, Dagon's out. Like he just falls, he is off his feet.

And then after Corey catches him and they settle him, he's gonna kinda come to here, almost as if like smelling salts were reused. Finway's gonna say, "Are you all right?" - He'll look at Finway. It wasn't enough, was it? - Well, it's like a muscle. The first time Bree tried it, it didn't get all that far either. So it may just take a while. You may just have to keep trying and, you know, we'll keep trying. Everyone do me a favor, roll a perception check. - There I go again. Look at the fucking three. - Nat 20. - Nice. - Let's see, Dagon, Leila, man, Braelyn.

Dagon, Leila, Arilov, Corey, you are all going to see a white raven flutter into this cave and perch itself across the room here. And Finway is going to break, just sort of pat Dagon on the leg for just a second more. Give me one second. And he is going to go to get this raven. Is there anything anybody wants to say to Dagon? - Braelyn's gonna go up to him, like look at him kind of like sad, with a sad face and say, cool try, bro. And then walk away. - I don't know if it's necessary, but I'll heal check him. - Yeah, what are my, are my hands damaged or anything?

Or is there? - No, nothing like that. This is more just raw exhaustion. This is, if anything, it would just be like, let's dab some of that sweat off of you or something. Like it's, yeah, just kind of get you some air, that type of thing. And you will require many naps. - Yeah. (laughing) - Just gonna say, - Just gonna charge around. - Just gonna say, this is merely a setback. If you feel rested enough, you can try anytime you want. - Wait, I don't sleep. But how do I now? - Well, you meditate. - Yeah, you meditate, but yeah. You're gonna be doing a lot of that.

- I'm out for a bit. - Finway is going to approach you again. And he's got this small scroll in his hand. Remember how I said this is like a muscle and you may need some practice? Well, you may get some pointers on that pretty soon 'cause apparently Bree's on her way. - She's coming here. - That's what this says. Apparently they're getting word to her and they specifically wanna speak to you. And he's going to look over to air love. And I think that's probably a pretty good time. - No, no. Why? - We blew it. (laughing) - Why didn't I train in endurance? - Can I reroll?

- I don't think it works that way. - Emporo's? - Can we have our next session now? (laughing)
